Overview
Radiology Technologist – CT Tech, Travel Assignment in Hilo, HI. Start date 10/19/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,907–$3,092 per week. Shift: 4x10 rotating. This hospital-based imaging department assignment requires Hawaii licensure and ARRT CT certification, along with health clearance requirements. Travelers without an active Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license must apply upon acceptance; Hawaii license must be active by the start date. No RTO will be granted in the first 13 weeks of the contract. Shifts may vary by need in a busy acute care setting.

Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans following radiologist protocols and established safety guidelines
- Prepare patients, verify orders, obtain histories, and ensure patient comfort and consent
- Operate CT equipment (Canon/Toshiba units) and utilize Vitrea workstation for post-processing (MIP, MPR, 3D imaging as applicable)
- Maintain image quality and patient safety; monitor for contrast-related adverse events
- Assist with venipuncture for IV access as needed; participate in contrast administration under protocol
- Document procedures and results accurately in Meditech EMR; coordinate with radiologists and imaging team
- May participate in procedures such as biopsies or drainages as appropriate; adapt to shifting workload and protocols

Requirements
- Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license by start of assignment
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in an acute hospital setting
- Ability to scan per radiologist protocols; work independently without direct supervision
- Experience with Meditech EMR; Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation preferred
- Flu vaccination required or facility-approved exemption prior to contract start
- Must arrive the Thursday before start for health clearance; no RTO approved during first 13 weeks
