Registered Nurse - Wound Care - Per Diem Days

About This Role The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population, focusing on expanding knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team. This role is ideal for those who are dedicated to improving patient outcomes and enhancing their own nursing practice. Highlights Location: Edison, NJ Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Implement age and disease-specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation. Administer medications utilizing bar-scanning and documentation technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Requirements Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience: Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program Licenses & Certifications: Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
