About This Role The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population, focusing on expanding knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Highlights Location: Edison, NJ Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Implement age and disease-specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation. Administer medications utilizing bar-scanning and documentation technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Requirements Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience: Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program Licenses & Certifications: Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
