Qualifications:

• Valid Washington Special Education Certification required
• Experience as a Special Education or Life Skills Teacher preferred
• Passion for working with elementary-aged students with diverse needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instruction and support individualized education plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement life skills-based instruction for elementary students
• Create and maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment

• Document and report on educational objectives in accordance with IEPs
