CMM Programmer

The work environment values precision, reliability, and continuous improvement in manufacturing practices. Role Description The CMM Programmer is a full-time, on-site role based in Owasso, OK. This position is responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect precision plastic components and assemblies. Day-to-day tasks include creating and optimizing CMM programs, performing dimensional inspections, verifying measurements against engineering drawings and specifications, and documenting inspection results. The role also involves collaborating with production and engineering teams on quality-related issues, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions, and helping to improve inspection processes and standards. The CMM Programmer ensures that all measurement and inspection activities align with company quality requirements and industry certifications. Qualifications Strong proficiency with gauges and measurement tools for inspecting precision components. Experience in quality control practices, including interpreting drawings, tolerances, and specifications. Demonstrated ability to perform accurate measurements and dimensional verification using CMM and related equipment. Knowledge of calibration procedures and maintenance of inspection and measurement instruments. Hands-on experience with inspection workflows, documentation of results, and nonconformance reporting. Previous experience programming and operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards or similar industry certifications. Solid math and analytical skills, including geometry and trigonometry applicable to dimensional inspection. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality initiatives. High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and commitment to continuous improvement. Relevant technical training or coursework in metrology, manufacturing, or engineering; prior experience in plastics or precision machining is beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
