Plant Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift Plant Maintenance Technician – 4-Day Work Week! Location: Red Diamond | Moody, AL Schedule: Second Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM Overtime: Occasional Fridays as needed At Red Diamond , we’ve been crafting world‑class coffee and tea since 1906. What You’ll Do: As a Plant Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our production operations running smoothly by: Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment on production lines and support systems in a fast paced environment Performing preventive maintenance on coffee and tea production equipment Rebuilding pumps and other production‑related equipment as needed Completing scheduled work orders and documenting maintenance activities accuratelyAssisting with line setups and changeovers Communicating equipment issues and operational updates with team members across shifts What We’re Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of maintenance or related technical experience Technical school preferred Allen Bradley PLC experience strongly preferred Knowledge of PLC programming and ladder logic is a plus Strong electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and air cylinder hydraulics skills Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Dependability matters — we value team members who show up ready to contribute and take pride in their work Why You’ll Love Working Here: Named one of Birmingham’s Best Places to Work (Birmingham Business Journal, 2025) Competitive pay with room to grow Supportive team environment where your work matters Great benefits and a company that invests in your success If you’re ready to build a career with a company that values reliability, teamwork, and quality — apply now and join the Red Diamond family.
