We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Medical Payment Poster to join our revenue cycle team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in accurately recording and posting medical payments, ensuring the seamless processing of financial transactions related to patient services. Responsibilities Payment Posting: Accurately post and reconcile payments from various sources. Claim Reconciliation: Collaborate with billing team to resolve payment discrepancies. Payment Verification: Confirm proper payment application based on EOBs. Exception Handling: Identify and resolve payment issues promptly. Reporting: Generate and analyze payment reports to provide insights. Documentation: Maintain accurate payment records and ensure confidentiality. Collaboration: Work with team members to optimize payment processes. Qualifications Proven experience in medical payment posting, preferably in an urgent care or healthcare setting. Familiarity with medical billing software and proficiency in using financial systems. Knowledge of healthcare payment processes, including EOB interpretation and insurance claim reconciliation. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Effective communication skills to interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Education and Certifications High School Diploma required.
