Medical Assistant - Patient Care Coordinator

In-Person, Birmingham, AL location! Only candidates living in Birmingham or the surrounding area will be considered!

One of Birmingham's Leading Specialized Medical Clinics is willing to pay what it takes, plus benefits, for a Medical Assistant-Patient Care Coordinator. Bubbly, outgoing professional with excellent communication, patient relations, and computer skills. This is a very busy medical clinic with a high volume of patient appointments each day. This position will assist one physician with his patients to provide seamless and effective patient care coordination.

Responsibilities

Manage patient scheduling and appointment coordination efficiently
Facilitate clear communication with patients regarding their care
Provide clinical support to physicians and healthcare staff
Assist with patient check-out procedures
Coordinate specialized patient care activities
Send off labs and other orders and keep track of progress

Certified Medical Assistant is preferred. HSG. 3= yeas of medical office experience. Happy personality who can be flexible and easy to work with! Bilingual in Spanish is a big plus!

Normal Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 - 5. Criminal/Drug Screening!
