Pediatric Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pediatric Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Handle all administrative and clinical duties in a timely manner
Perform routine clinical tasks to support physicians
Communicate with patients and other physician practices, professionally and courteously
Escort patients to exam rooms
Measure and record vital signs
Obtain and process lab samples
Clean and stock exam rooms as needed
Administer Immunizations and medications as ordered by physicians
Assist with any other office duties as needed or requested

Qualifications:

Previous experience in Pediatrics (minimum of 1 year)
Medical Assistant Certification (or 2+ years medical assistant experience)
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work as a team
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
