Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a positive impact supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist in the Battle Creek, MI area! This full-time, contract opportunity covers a maternity leave for the 2026-2027 academic year, starting November 5th and continuing through mid-February. You'll provide tailored OT services to help students achieve their educational goals in a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license (must present a copy)
• Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and adapt treatment plans for a variety of student needs
• Knowledge of IEPs, documentation, and assessment protocols
• Organizational and time management abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group occupational therapy services to students per IEP goals
• Conduct assessments and evaluations in collaboration with the school team
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and strategies
• Promote a positive and inclusive environment for students of all backgrounds
• Adhere to standards of practice, confidentiality, and district policies
