Loan Operations Specialist

This role will support the continued growth of our client's loan origination and lending operations platform. The individual in this role will help oversee the implementation, maintenance, and daily administration of the ACBS loan servicing system to ensure accurate loan processing and efficient operational workflows throughout the full loan lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring experience within loan operations, a strong understanding of syndicated and bilateral lending structures, and an interest in improving processes within a fast-moving and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities Act as a key resource for loan administration and operational processes across a variety of credit products and lending vehicles. Partner closely with Investment, Portfolio Management, Treasury, and Accounting teams to support the setup, maintenance, and oversight of loan transactions, including syndicated, bilateral, agency, and secondary market deals. Oversee daily operational activity tied to credit facilities, including onboarding, funding activity, rollovers, and related servicing functions. Support the configuration, testing, and enhancement of lending platform workflows, reporting functionality, and operational processes. Conduct quality assurance reviews of loan documentation and system data to ensure alignment with approved credit terms and regulatory requirements. Monitor operational processes for potential risks or control weaknesses and elevate issues when necessary. Prepare and analyze operational and compliance-related reporting for internal stakeholders and regulatory purposes. Qualifications & Experience Experience working with ACBS is mandatory Prior experience within an investment bank, private equity firm, asset manager, or similar financial institution. Approximately 3–6 years of experience within loan operations, middle office, or credit operations functions, ideally with exposure to infrastructure-related lending. Strong familiarity with credit agreements, loan documentation, and syndicated lending structures. Exposure to CLOs is considered a plus. Understanding of financial concepts such as cash flow waterfalls, IRR calculations, and related reporting metrics.
