Compensation Analyst

Shared Services: Human Resource Management, Compensation (Full-Time, Day Shift) Responsibilities include the following: Assist with the development, implementation and administration of compensation practices. Identify opportunities for improvement to Compensation policies and practices, and make recommendations to the Compensation Manager. Monitor and audit pay practices to ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and wage and hour laws. Conduct job analysis, benchmark reviews, and market‑price job analyses. Develop, review and update job descriptions. Conduct FLSA assessments. Participate in Compensation surveys. Review Common Law Questionnaires to determine accurate classification based on IRS guidelines. Utilize the performance management system and address any performance‑management compensation issues that arise. Assist the Manager or Compensation Analyst Sr. with coordination of compensation projects impacting a specific entity or all LLUH entities. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or a related field is required. Minimum two years of compensation experience required. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred. General to advanced understanding and knowledge of wage and hour laws and compensation practices. Demonstrated understanding of PeopleSoft and Performance Management Systems. Ability to read, write legibly and speak in English with professional quality. Proficiency in computer, printer, and software programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate and follow direction. Effective oral, written, and telephone communication in English; critical thinking; and ability to manage multiple assignments. Ability to organize and prioritize workload, work well under pressure, problem‑solve, and maintain attention to detail. Work independently with minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors, hear speech sufficiently for general conversation, and see adequately to read computer screens and written documents. #J-18808-Ljbffr
