As a Security Officer Truck Gate Access Part Time in Gilbert AZ this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and drivers by following site-specific procedures access protocols and other security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner and report details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas loading docks trailer yards parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor the movement of visitors vendors and delivery personnel verify credentials and/or documentation as required by site procedures and help maintain orderly entry and exit activity.
• Support emergency response activities and assist with documenting incidents daily activity and other security-related observations in accordance with post orders and client-directed expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
