Manufacturing Lead - 1st Shift

Ultra Tool Manufacturing

Basic Function:

Responsible for supporting the assigned work area through machine setup, material staging, workflow coordination, operator training, and quality oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate machines, perform in-process quality checks, and package components to customer requirements
Set up and tear down machines
Stage materials, packaging, paperwork, and inspection equipment for upcoming jobs
Operate a forklift as needed
Train operators on processes, safety, and quality requirements
Monitor product quality and address quality issues
Address personnel issues with the Operations Manager and other leads
Inspect equipment daily and report equipment issues
Identify and support process improvements

Principle Duties:

Support daily production and workflow within the assigned work area
Train and support operators
Maintain quality and safety standards
Provide leadership and supervision when the Operations Manager is absent

Education amp; Experience:

Skills: Basic computer and math skills, ability to read and communicate effectively
Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 3 years of manufacturing experience
Preferred: Machine maintenance amp; technical experience
