Responsibilities- Monitor, supervise and provide support to staff with any daily questions.
- Provide personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medication as directed.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the appropriate staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and activities.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Communicate with Care Teams.
- Order medications from pharmacy and complete monthly medication check in.
- Train and mentor new and current staff.
- Participate in the company On-Call.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare preferred.
- CBRF Certifications preferred.
- Previous lead experience, preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards seniors.
- Ability to lift and move safely as required.
- Understand and practice standard precautions at all times.
- Availability to work 1st shift hours (7am - 3pm), including every other weekend and holiday.
- Ability to be part of the monthly on-call rotation.
- Must pass background check.
