Job Description THE PRACTICE Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital - Santa Barbara, CA Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is a non-profit, 519-bed acute care teaching hospital and trauma center. It is the largest of its kind between LosAngeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. The hospital was founded in 1888 by 50 women determined to provide a healthcare facility for the growing community of Santa Barbara. We offer a comprehensive range of services to best suit our patients' needs and circumstances, including acute inpatient psychiatry and detoxification; residential alcohol, drug, and co-occurring disorders; rehabilitation; and several levels of outpatient treatment services in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. Our approach to care is integrative, family-oriented, and culturally sensitive. Treatment plans support each person's specific needs and include treatment modalities for dual diagnosis to address those with both psychiatric and chemical dependency needs. ED & Consult Liaison Services Provides 50/50 treatment to the ED holding unit Provides treatment for adults 18 years of age and older and occasional adolescent/children patient Double coverage, 7 on - 7 off schedule 10 hour shifts Daily caseload of 15 patients per physician Shared rotating night call Work with a collaborative group of psychiatrists, that truly work as a team Must be board certified (board eligible for new graduates) Requires CA license and DEA Traditions Behavioral Health is proud to accept and work with H1B and J1 Visa holders THE BENEFITS $389,643.00 Annually for Full-Time (7 on / 7 off) W-2 Employees Salary includes $440.00 per night for shared rotating night call Comprehensive Benefits Package Attractive 401K and Competitive Company Match Generous Annual Bonuses THE AREA Santa Barbara is a city on the central California coast, with the Santa Ynez Mountains as a dramatic backdrop.
