Through an unwavering commitment to innovation and premium craftsmanship, Callaway designs, manufactures, and sells high-performance golf clubs, golf balls, apparel, bags, and other accessories—setting the standard for performance in the game of golf.Our Mission: To create demonstrably superior and pleasingly different products powered by innovative technology and premium craftsmanship enabling golfers of all abilities to play their best and find more joy in the game.Our company is a blend of experience and diverse backgrounds, and together we look to leave the past behind while moving the game forward.* Hybrid position in Austin, TX*What You'll DoDesign, build, and maintain storefront features using Next.js 16 (App Router, Server Components, Server Actions, Cache Components, Turbopack), deployed and hosted on Vercel.Integrate front-end applications with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) via SCAPI / Open Commerce API (OCAPI), including product, category, pricing, promotions, cart, and checkout data.Build and consume GraphQL and/or REST services connecting the storefront to SFCC and other commerce microservices.Embrace an AI-first development workflow by effectively leveraging modern AI-assisted software development tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, GPT, Gemini, Cursor, or similar) throughout the software development lifecycle to improve productivity, accelerate delivery, and maintain high standards for code quality, architecture, security, and engineering judgment.Optimize for Core Web Vitals, page performance, accessibility, and SEO across a large, dynamic product catalog.Collaborate with UX/design, product, merchandising, and backend teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Write clean, well-tested, maintainable TypeScript/JavaScript code and participate in peer code reviews.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the front-end, backend, and commerce integration layers.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, monitoring, observability, and improvements to the overall developer experience.Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, AI-assisted development practices, and evolving e-commerce best practices.Contribute to technical documentation, coding standards, and architectural discussions.What You'll Bring3+ years of professional software development experience building modern web applications, preferably within e-commerce, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.Strong hands-on experience with Next.js (v14+, ideally v16) and React, including App Router, Server Components, and modern caching strategies (ISR, Cache Components).Proven experience integrating with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) using SFRA, SCAPI, OCAPI, or headless SFCC implementations.Solid TypeScript/JavaScript fundamentals and experience building production-quality applications.Experience designing and consuming GraphQL and/or REST APIs.Strong understanding of e-commerce concepts, including product catalogs, pricing, promotions, search, cart, checkout, and order management.Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage modern AI-assisted software development tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, GPT, Gemini, Cursor, or similar) to improve engineering productivity while maintaining high standards for code quality, architecture, testing, and security.Experience with modern development tooling (Git, npm/yarn/pnpm, Webpack/Vite, ESLint/Prettier) and CI/CD workflows.Experience deploying and managing applications on Vercel (or equivalent), including preview deployments, environment configuration, Edge/Serverless Functions, and ISR revalidation.Experience with headless or composable commerce architectures.Working knowledge of web performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO best practices for large-scale web applications.Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to thrive in an Agile environment.DE&I and EEOC:Inclusion & Diversity: As a purpose-led, performance driven company, we strive to foster a culture of belonging based on respect, connection, openness and authenticity.
