School Occupational Therapist - Hamilton, Georgia

Make an impact in students' lives by providing occupational therapy services on-site for a local school district near Hamilton, GA, with locations close to Columbus. This contract opportunity runs from August 3rd, 2026, through May 21st, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours daily). The specific caseload will be determined based on your experience, skills, and district needs. Both OTs and COTAs are being considered, with a particular consideration for those with experience working in school settings.

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia OT license (required)
• Preferred minimum of one year of clinical experience in occupational therapy, especially with pediatric populations
• COTAs with relevant school-based experience are highly encouraged to apply
• Ability to work full-time on-site throughout all assignment dates
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

• Provide occupational therapy services to students per individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct thorough evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Support students' functional and academic success within the school environment
