" To ensure the effective planning, coordination, and delivery of all learning and development initiatives within the hotel, supporting the achievement of business objectives through continuous employee development. The Training Manager / Learning & Development Manager is responsible for fostering a learning culture, enhancing employee performance and engagement, ensuring compliance with brand standards and mandatory training requirements and developing talent to meet current and future organizational needs. The role ensures that all training activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, brand guidelines and operational priorities. Main Duties: Operations Develop and execute the annual Learning & Development (L&D) strategy aligned with Hyatt's business objectives and talent development goals. Coordinate and facilitate onboarding, orientation, and induction programs for all new colleagues to ensure a positive and engaging employee experience. Promote and reinforce Hyatt's purpose, values, culture, and brand standards across the organization. Maintain high standards of learning service delivery and ensure training initiatives support operational excellence. Develop, coach, and support Departmental Trainers to effectively deliver training within their respective areas. Coordinate safety, security, and compliance-related training programs with certified Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and relevant departments. Conduct training needs analyses across departments to identify capability gaps and development opportunities. Design, deliver, and evaluate learning programs, workshops, leadership development initiatives, and e-learning solutions. Maintain training calendars, training records, attendance reports, and Learning Management System (LMS) data. Source, evaluate, and manage external training providers, facilitators, and learning consultants. Measure training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, observations, and operational performance indicators. Ensure all training materials remain current, relevant, engaging, and aligned with Hyatt standards and business objectives. Leadership Foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and professional development throughout the organization. Partner with and coach leaders to develop their teams and identify talent development opportunities. Support leadership development, career progression, and succession planning initiatives. Position Learning & Development as a strategic business partner that enhances performance, capability, and organizational effectiveness, rather than solely a training delivery function. Serve as a trusted advisor to department heads on employee development, learning solutions, and performance improvement strategies. Lead, mentor, and support Learning & Development team members, trainers, facilitators and coordinators, where applicable. Quality & Compliance Ensure all learning and development activities comply with Hyatt policies, legal requirements, and applicable industry regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records, reports, and documentation on a monthly basis to support audit and compliance requirements. Coordinate and monitor mandatory compliance training programs, including health and safety, ethics, data privacy, and other Hyatt-required learning initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Hospitality Management, or a related field. 5+ years of Learning & Development experience, preferably in luxury hospitality. Strong knowledge of training design, leadership development, and employee engagement. Proven ability to deliver training programs and support talent development initiatives. Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills. Hyatt experience and strong knowledge of compliance, brand standards, and mandatory training requirements preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
