Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a board certified neurosurgeon for in-house coverage supporting a neurocritical care environment. Responsibilities include outpatient clinic duties, operating room procedures, ER call responsiveness, and Level II trauma management. Coverage is required 5-7 days per month, with a preference for 5 consecutive days. Opportunity Highlights Location: Tampa, Florida Employment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Neurocare hospital with in-house presence Schedule & Coverage: 5-7 days per month, preferably 5 consecutive days; after-hours calls starting at 5 PM from outpatient cases; on-call for emergency and urgent cases Clinical Scope: Outpatient clinic duties, inpatient neurosurgical procedures, transfer center calls, ER response, Level II trauma management, timely documentation within 30 minutes, handling emergency and urgent cases, sign-out/hand-off to incoming physicians Practice Environment This hospital-based setting provides comprehensive neurocritical care support, including transfer center and ER call coverage.
