Ability to follow general oral and written instructions. Ability to work independently and take initiative in task performance. Ability to pass a Criminal Background/fingerprint check ($70 fee) Completion of annual district trainings

Tillamook School District - Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Requirements

Tillamook School District requires that all paraprofessionals be "Highly Qualified". There are 3 ways you can meet these requirements. Possess an Associate's (or higher) degree, or Complete two years of study at an institute of higher education with a minimum of 72 quarter college credits or 48 semester college credits, or Pass a local assessment test demonstrating basic knowledge of reading, writing and mathematics skills. (Accuplacer) TBCC Next-Generation AccuPlacer Test Next-Generation Writing 223 or above Next-Generation Arithmetic 235 or above TBCC offers testing upstairs in the library, M-TH 9 am-7 pm, F 9 am-4:30 pm)
