ARMED Security Officers in Sandston government facility setting $21.00(Operations) Job Skills / Requirements We are hiring Armed officers for a high-profile client in the Sandston area. Pay is $21 per hour. Duties include: Provide access control at the entrance gate, checking IDs to verify identity, completing entry logs for every person entering the facility, and checking them out when leaving. Conduct vehicle inspections before allowing entry, checking the interior, truck, underside, and under the hood; for trucks, also inspect the bed and/or inside the trailer. Perform roving patrols to identify and deter unauthorized vehicles and personnel, looking for unauthorized entry points around the facility, including cuts in fences and gates. Maintain patrols of the facility to ensure the site and personnel remain safe at all times. Qualifications include: Must have an ARMED DCJS license. Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Must be able to use a computer for daily logs, incident reports, and entry reports. Must have effective verbal and written communication skills. Must have outstanding customer service skills. Must be able to pass a physical fitness test. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to walk up to an 8‑hour shift.
