As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Associate in Mechanicsville, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour. Job Schedule: Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and/or security‑related policies at a government transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting supervisors, emergency services, and/or designated personnel when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, public areas, parking locations, road‑facing perimeters, and/or other assigned grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, document observed activity, and/or report maintenance, traffic, or security‑related concerns. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activity, and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
