As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in Richmond, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related duties appropriate to a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify conditions that may require follow-up.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to support authorized access, visitor processing, and compliance with location policies and procedures.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and report maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
