Your expertise will be utilized primarily at the elementary level, with periodic work at the high school, collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid OT Certificate (must be provided before starting)
• Experience or knowledge in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred
• Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and teaching teams
• Ability to manage a caseload across multiple age groups and adapt interventions as needed
• Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy services to students, focusing on fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement classroom strategies that enhance student success
• Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Balance time between New Oxford Elementary (primary location) and periodic assignments at New Oxford High School
• Maintain clear communication with parents and school staff, advocating for student needs
