Job Description

Mobile Dog Groomer – Work One-on-One with Pets

Serving Huntington & Nassau County, NY

Zoomin Groomin of Nassau County is HIRING!

Are you a dog groomer who’s tired of the chaos of a busy salon?

Join our mobile grooming team and enjoy a calmer workday serving clients across Huntington and surrounding Nassau County communities . Our fully equipped grooming vans allow you to work one-on-one with pets at their homes , creating a low-stress experience for both groomer and dog.

At Zoomin Groomin, we believe in putting our groomers first. Your comfort, safety, and work-life balance are our priorities so you can focus on what you do best—making pets look and feel amazing.

What You’ll Do

• Provide full-service grooming in a fully equipped mobile grooming van at clients’ homes
• Groom dogs throughout Huntington and Nassau County neighborhoods
• Work one-on-one with each dog in a calm, low-stress setting
• Perform bathing, haircuts, nail trims, and breed-specific or custom styles
• Adjust grooming approach based on each dog’s comfort and behavior
• Build strong relationships with repeat clients and their pets
• Maintain a clean, organized mobile grooming workspace

Why Groomers Love This Role

• No high-volume salon environment
• Work with one dog at a time
• A calmer, more controlled schedule
• Opportunity to build long-term relationships with local clients
• Greater ownership over your daily route and schedule
• Focus on quality grooming instead of rushing through appointments

Compensation

• Up to 50% commission (based on experience)
• 100% of tips
• Consistent clientele in Huntington and surrounding Nassau County communities

Requirements

• Professional dog grooming experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid Driver’s License (Required)

About the Opportunity

Zoomin Groomin provides premium mobile grooming services for pet owners who value convenience and exceptional care. Our clients across Huntington and Nassau County choose us for our calm, personalized grooming experience.

If you believe grooming should be patient, low-stress, and tailored to each dog , you’ll thrive here.

Apply Today

If you're ready to move away from the fast-paced salon model and into a more relaxed, one-on-one grooming experience serving Huntington and Nassau County , we’d love to hear from you.
