General Helper / Maintenance Assistant (Temporary)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM start time

Overtime: Available based on business needs

Assignment: Temporary with potential for long-term hire

Select Staffing is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Helper to assist engineers with the maintenance, repair, and servicing of window washing equipment. This is a hands-on position for candidates with experience in construction, handyman work, maintenance, or other trades involving hand tools.

Responsibilities:

• Assist engineers with equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Safely use hand tools and basic power tools.
• Perform general labor, assembly, and mechanical support tasks.
• Help move materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow instructions, safety procedures, and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous construction, handyman, maintenance, or related experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Strong reliability and attendance.
