what you'll do – job duties

• greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• answer and direct phone calls, schedule and confirm appointments
• verify patient information and insurance details at check-in and check-out
• collect payments, co-pays, and reconcile daily transactions
• maintain and organize patient records in compliance with hipaa regulations
• coordinate with medical staff to support patient flow and handle inquiries
• respond to emails and manage incoming/outgoing correspondence

what you bring – requirements

• high school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus
• previous experience as a receptionist or in a medical office preferred
• proficiency in microsoft office and electronic medical record (emr) systems
• strong communication and interpersonal skills
• ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is an advantage
