Quality Technician

Job TitleMechanical inspection of precision machined components.CMM (Optical and Touch Probe), Interferometry, Laser Micrometre, and other advanced metrology equipment.Calibrations of metrology equipment.CAPA Corrective and Preventive Action support in relation to NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) with thorough documentation.Other duties as assignedSkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsInterpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Work experience in a QC and manufacturing environment is essential.Preferred: Lean, Corrective and Preventive Action, root cause investigation, Kaizen (continuous improvement-PDCA) knowledge and understandingPreferred: ISO 9001, AS9100, and / or FDA Certifications.EducationUniversity degree, specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience with any/all the following is highly desired:Advanced MetrologyProgrammable optical measurement tools (optical CMM)Keyence Image Measurement systemInterferometers used for surface finish and form analysisLaser micrometre
