The Performing Arts Department of Emerson College is seeking anaffiliated faculty member with expertise in Ballet to teach a Fall2026 Ballet Fundamentals course. This course explores the fundamentals of ballet technique forbeginning students. Through the traditional class sequence,students become familiar with ballet terms and technique. The classbegins at the barre and progresses to center combinations, whichemphasize the development of musicality, flexibility, strength, andcontrol. This course serves Dance Minors, Performing Arts majors,and other qualified students.
