As a Resource Nurse , you will float between different departments , assisting with patient care, supporting staff shortages, and ensuring smooth operations across the facility. This role requires adaptability, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work in diverse healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across multiple departments
• Float between various hospital units , including ICU, Med-Surg, ER, Telemetry, and more , based on staffing needs
• Quickly assess patients' conditions, implement care plans, and administer treatments
• Assist with critical situations , code responses, and emergency interventions
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to maintain seamless patient care
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies, safety protocols, and hospital guidelines

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience across multiple specialties preferred
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
• Strong ability to adapt quickly to different patient populations and unit protocols
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
