Overview
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Acute Care) – Puyallup, Washington. Travel assignment with Healthforce Healthcare LLC starting 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks in a long-term care setting. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Shift: 5x8 days. Weekly pay: $1,282 to $1,373 per week.

Responsibilities
- Assess residents’ functional abilities and contribute to the development of individualized OT treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapy interventions to restore or maintain independence in daily activities.
- Document progress notes, update treatment plans, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
- Reassess patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and participate in discharge planning and caregiver education.
- Ensure care is delivered in compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies, while maintaining accurate documentation.

Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Washington State (COTA)
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Ability to work in a long-term care environment and respond to occasional acute care needs
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- Availability to work the 5x8 day shift and meet guaranteed hours
