Our client, an industrial manufacturing and operations organization, is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to join their team. As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will be part of the Inventory Control / Materials team supporting day-to-day shop material flow. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset that will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $23.55-$24.57 depending on experience

Shift: 5:00 am to 3:00 pm- OT & Weekends are required.

What's the Job?

• Generate reports and review on-hand material status, actioning each item daily to keep inventory accurate.
• Make recommendations for inventory adjustments and for stock items/material status changes based on findings.
• Prioritize materials for orders and communicate material status updates to the team to support timely production.
• Distribute daily/weekly reports to help ensure inventory accuracy across systems and records.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, and material availability issues by investigating inventory inaccuracies and WIP transactions for validity.

What's Needed?

• Ability to identify material shortages and drive resolution through data review and follow-through.
• Comfort working with transactional systems and supporting integrity of inventory records.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain documents per record retention expectations and support shipping/receiving needs.
• Willingness to process material and due date changes to released work orders as needed.
• Interest in continuous improvement, including supporting LEAN initiatives and kanban process improvements.
