Community Manager
Spartanburg, SC | $65,000–$75,000 | Full-Time, On-Site
We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Community Manager for a residential community in the Spartanburg area.
This position is ideal for someone with strong property management experience who can independently manage the needs of a residential community while providing excellent service to residents and supporting the property's overall performance.
Active South Carolina Property Management (PM) and Property Manager-in-Charge (PMIC) licenses required.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the overall management and performance of the community
- Oversee leasing activity and help maintain strong occupancy and resident retention
- Build positive relationships with residents and respond to questions or concerns
- Coordinate maintenance needs, property inspections, vendors, and outside contractors
- Ensure the property remains compliant with Fair Housing requirements and applicable landlord-tenant regulations
- Maintain accurate resident, leasing, and property records
- Utilize property management software for daily operations and reporting
- Assist with marketing efforts and positioning available apartments
- Work closely with onsite team members to ensure the community is operating efficiently
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of residential property management experience preferred
- Active South Carolina Property Management License required
- Strong understanding of Fair Housing and residential property management practices
- Experience with Yardi, OneSite, Rent Manager, or comparable property management software
- Strong communication and resident relations skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Comfortable working independently and making day-to-day operational decisions
