Make a Real Impact Every Day!At Lauren’s Institute for Education (L.I.F.E.), we believe in empowering individuals with developmental disabilities through education, support, and compassion.Why You’ll Love Working at L.I.F.E.:Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 Dependent on experienceGreat Benefits:Health, Dental, Vision InsuranceSpring, Fall and Winter Paid breaks12 Paid Holidays after 90 daysPTO that grows with you: 2 weeks (3 after 2 years)Wellness Program: earn rewards + insurance discounts401K + Roth plans with company matchPartial Paid FMLAThis equates to an added 20 - 25% in potential benefits for total compensation.Awesome Perks:5 free L.I.F.E. shirts to start, with seasonal restocksMonthly cupcakes, football treats, and staff celebrationsEmployee of the Month gift + parking spotBirthday gifts + recognition for service milestonesDepartment budgets for staff-requested itemsDiscounted degree options + in-house trainingsEligible for federal student loan forgiveness (L.I.F.E. is a 501(c)(3))10-acre facility with a thoughtfully designed and beautiful outdoor environmentKey Responsibilities:Assist with managing the full recruitment process, including job postings, resume review, interviews, and reference checks.Hire quality talent and place them in roles that align with their skills and the organization’s needs, ensuring a timely and efficient hiring process.Meet deadlines and hiring cycle demands by performing all responsibilities in a timely and organized manner.Assist with conducting candidate interviews (phone, virtual, and in-person) using standardized evaluation criteria.Assist with preparing and sending offer letters, onboarding communication, and required documentation.Assist with onboarding processes and orientation to ensure new hires meet DDD requirements and complete all documentation.Represent the company’s mission and culture to new hires, fostering alignment and enthusiasm from day one.Maintain accurate ATS records and recruitment reports.Assist with preparing clean, organized reports for HR Supervisor review.Assist with organizing recruitment and onboarding data for leadership presentations.Represent L.I.F.E. at job fairs, hiring events, and networking opportunities.Maintain compliance with state, federal, and organizational hiring policies.Assist with tracking onboarding progress, retention data, and exit interview documentation.Support the HR Supervisor with recruitment-related tasks and other duties as needed.Attends departmental meetings as needed to coordinate staffing needs.Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (or eligibility to obtain).Basic knowledge of recruitment processes (job postings, resume screening, interviewing).Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.1-3 years of recruiting, HR, or administrative experiencePreferred Qualifications:Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field.Prior experience in a recruitment, HR, or administrative role (internships and volunteer work welcome).Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or HRIS platform.Familiarity with Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) hiring requirements and certifications.Physical Demands:This position requires a combination of routine administrative activity and occasional physical tasks.
