This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a state-of-the-art unit with a diverse patient population, including post-operative recovery, cardiac, stroke, and renal care. The RN will work night shifts in a dynamic environment that emphasizes teamwork and advanced practice skills. Job Details Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current acute care hospital PCU experience minimum of 1 year; BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Responsibilities include post-op recovery of surgical and cath lab patients, orthopedic, cardiac, stroke, renal, respiratory care, and managing various cardiac drips. Preferred qualifications include cardiac experience and Meditech electronic medical record experience. Float: Float rotation may be required. Additional information: The unit features a modern setup with ADA/Bariatric rooms, multiple patient monitoring equipment, and a positive team-oriented culture. The unit offers a modified self-scheduling process with schedules posted three weeks in advance, accommodating trade requests.
