Job Details Position: Med/Surg RN, Travel Nurse Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Location: Thornton, CO 80229 Start Date: 8/31/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540 Setting: Medical-Surgical / Orthopedic unit with remote telemetry Patient Ratio: 5:1 EMR: Meditech Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of current Med/Surg RN acute care experience Current Colorado RN license or compact RN license required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required ACLS preferred Meditech experience preferred Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced acute care environment Strong teamwork, adaptability, and a positive attitude Responsibilities Provide skilled bedside care to adult Med/Surg and post-operative patients Monitor patients on remote telemetry and respond to changes in condition Care for patients receiving cardiac drips such as amiodarone, diltiazem, and heparin Collaborate with charge nurses, support staff, and the broader healthcare team to deliver safe, quality patient care Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively using the unit’s EMR system Support a positive, energetic unit culture while delivering excellent patient outcomes Apply now to take the next step in your Med/Surg RN travel nursing career in Thornton, Colorado!
