We are looking for a Lighting Showroom Sales to join our Mayer team in Pelham, AL! The Lighting Showroom Sales is responsible for successfully promoting and selling residential and small commercial lighting products, as well as connected home lighting solutions.

The duties include greeting customers, creating quotes, following up with customers to secure orders, converting quotes to orders, entering and billing orders, monitoring and canceling unsuccessful quotes, proactively expediting orders, establishing and communicating material promise dates, coordinating with customers and internal resources regarding shipments/delivery, reviewing customer pricing for accuracy, issuing return tickets, participating in key supplier promotions, keeping customer contacts up to date, actively participating in the company's Continuous Quality Improvement efforts, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include 1+ years of sales experience, high school or GED, and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Self-motivated, a sense of urgency, with excellent sales and customer service skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively, and good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and ERP systems are also required.

Physical demands include sitting frequently, walking frequently, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally, climbing or balancing occasionally, and talking, hearing, tasting, smelling constantly. Weight and force demands include up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Working environment includes traveling to offsite locations occasionally.
