Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Leads and supervises nursing staff, ensuring coordinated, patient-centered care aligned with established standards and the nursing process.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status by collecting relevant data and analyzing assessment findings.
• Develop individualized care plans with prescribed interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Implement and coordinate care delivery, utilizing strategies to promote health and ensure patient safety.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly to meet treatment goals.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide a safe, compassionate, and healing environment.
• Educate patients and families on health management, discharge plans, and follow-up care.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Prior experience in an acute care or medical-surgical setting preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
