Registered Nurse (RN) - Short Stay

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Contract Weeks: 8

Guaranteed Hours: 40.00

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification: Required
• At least two years recent experience in the field: Required
• Experience with EPIC and Cerner: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards of care.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide safe and effective care.
• Educate patients and families regarding health information and treatment plans.
• Coordinate and delegate duties among the healthcare team.
