This role involves working closely with experienced attorneys on complex, high‑stakes commercial disputes across a range of industries—including construction, contract, and business litigation matters. The team welcomes attorneys from insurance defense and related litigation backgrounds. Responsibilities Represent clients in complex commercial litigation, including contract disputes, construction, and high‑exposure matters. Handle all phases of litigation: pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation. Assist clients in ADR, including mediation and arbitration. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and legal documents. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategy and drive matters toward resolution. Provide proactive legal guidance on risk management, compliance, and dispute avoidance. Maintain strong client relationships and communicate effectively on case developments. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Admission to practice in Florida; additional southeastern licensure a plus. 2+ years of experience in complex commercial litigation (construction exposure a plus, but not required) or insurance defense. Strong academic credentials and demonstrated litigation experience. Excellent written and oral advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
