Data Entry Assistant

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client for a detail-oriented Data Entry Assistant to join their remote team. Day to day, you will spend most of your time entering, updating, and verifying information across digital systems, so a sharp eye for detail and comfort working independently are essential. Responsibilities

• Enter and update data into company databases and spreadsheets accurately and efficiently
• Verify accuracy of information by comparing it to source documents
• Review and correct data discrepancies or incomplete information
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information
• Organize and file digital records for easy retrieval
• Generate routine reports summarizing data entry activity
• Respond to requests for information from internal teams
• Assist with data cleanup and database maintenance projects
• Track daily data entry volume and meet established productivity goals
• Communicate data trends or issues to supervisors as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proven experience in data entry or administrative support preferred
• Strong typing speed and accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
