Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist

EH&S Specialist (EH&S-S) will conduct hands-on assessments and evaluations on new and current employees throughout each classification. EH&S-S will be asked to perform safety observations, perform infield training and follow ups, contribute to company policies and procedures. An EH&S-S will be required to travel within our service territory. EH&S-S will meet with crews in the morning to take part in the tailboard daily and help deliver the safety messages. They will be expected to fill out all necessary paperwork in a timely manner while working with fellow co-workers. They assist in incident investigations and fill out corresponding reports. Must have a proven track record of working safely. Expected to be a subject matter expert with knowledge of ANSI standards, OSHA, and client/customer regulations. EH&S-S shall be familiar with using technology (apps and programs on cell phones, computers, and tablets)

Location: Arizona

Position requirements:

• CPR and first aid certification. (Within 90 days of hire date)
• OSHA 10 or 30 (or complete within 90 days of hire date)
• CTSP certification (or complete within 6 months of hire date)
• Completed foreperson test with a score of at least 70%
• Class C Driver's license
• Meets all requirements to drive company vehicles
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
• Minimum of 1 Year performing work as a Qualified line clearance tree trimmer

Preferred Certifications for this position are:

• Bilingual
• ISA certification
• Commercial Driver with a class A or B license
