You'll work in a fast-paced, creative environment to deliver software solutions that help business partners improve testing, business processes, and services.This role emphasizes end-to-end execution—from solution design and development to deployment—and a mindset focused on innovation, including agentic AI, GenAI, and cloud/platform engineering.You'll have opportunities to lead small development teams, collaborate with engineers across the department, and influence improvements to test strategy, operational workflows, and software delivery practices.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using python pyspark, Angular, and Go.Apply AI tools and techniques, including GenAI development, Agents, and LLM-based models, to build intelligent solutions that enhance test and product capabilities.Collaborate with Modernization teams to develop innovative solutions to accelerate software development life cycle delivery.Build and optimize AI and Cloud workflows (including pipelines, orchestration, and integrations).Stay current with emerging AI technologies and best practices to continuously improve our AI capabilities.QualificationsDesired ExperiencePython pyspark, Terraform, APIs, JSON, Angular, ReactAWS (Lambda, EC2, SQS, S3, Cloudfront, API gateway, SNS, Route53)Experience in cloud architecture and developmentFocused on integrating DevSecOps practices in their workProficiency in TypeScript and Angular for frontend development.Experience with Go for backend is a plus.Applied experience using AI tools and frameworks, specifically:Generative AI development (GenAI)Agent-based AI solutionsLarge Language Model (LLM) integration and deploymentNon-Technical Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively independently and as part of a teamDemonstrated ability to build relationships, collaborate cross-functionally, and empower othersAbility to adapt quickly in a changing, high-velocity environmentPreferred: P&C experienceComfortable resolving highly complex problems using expert knowledge across multiple application typesComfortable working within an Onsite/Offshore delivery modelOur BenefitsBecause work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!Potential starting salary range: $107,000 - $135,000Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experienceHigh end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experiencePotential yearly incentive pay up to 10% of base salaryAt State Farm, we offer more than just a paycheck.
