We are a single provider, private practice. We are committed to providing quality dental care in a comforting and positive environment. We are searching for a Dental Assistant, can be experienced or an adaptable apprentice who is talented and reliable to join our asylum. We are seeking someone with at least one (1) year of chairside dental assisting and holds a current Maryland Dental Radiology License.

Responsibilities include :

• Assisting dentist in procedures
• Taking x-rays
• Educating patients on oral hygiene and aftercare.
• Be able to work on multiple dental procedures at once.
• Prepare patients for dental procedures.
• Maintain patient records and charts.
• Sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Provide post-operative instructions to patients.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Dentrix preferred

Required Qualifications

• Maryland Dental Radiology License

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in dental assisting
• Proven chairside assistance skills
• Experience operating dental radiograph equipment
• Strong patient communication abilities
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques
• Familiarity with Dentrix dental software
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment
