Laboratory Technician

Location: Louisville, KY (Onsite)
Pay: $25.00/hour
Schedule: 8-hour 1st Shift (Start time between 5:00 AM – 8:00 AM)

Are you an experienced Laboratory Technician looking for your next opportunity? We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to join a quality-focused team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you'll perform quality control testing, maintain accurate laboratory documentation, and help ensure products meet company quality standards before release.

What You'll Do

• Perform quality control (QC) testing according to established procedures.
• Enter and maintain accurate test results in SAP.
• Prepare, label, and manage laboratory samples.
• Operate laboratory equipment, including viscometers, softening point testers, and Gardner instruments.
• Complete equipment calibration and routine maintenance.
• Investigate and document non-conforming materials.
• Review production data and communicate quality concerns.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct GMP and glass inspections.
• Attend HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety meetings.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.

What We're Looking For

✔ Previous laboratory experience required.
✔ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field preferred.
✔ Experience with quality control testing and laboratory documentation.
✔ Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
✔ Ability to prioritize work and operate independently.
✔ Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
✔ SAP experience is a plus.
✔ Knowledge of SPC, Control Charts, Cpk/Cp, or other statistical tools is a plus.
