Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

In this role you’ll work directly with residents in our Milwaukee, WI facility, helping them achieve their personal goals. Job Title Direct Support Professional / Caregiver Compensation Wage: $17.00 per hour. Weekend shift differential: $2.00 per hour for any time worked on weekends (5 pm Friday to 8 am Monday). Eligible for a $1,500 bonus based on the assigned program. Position requires a valid driver’s license. Facilitate independence through hands‑on mentoring. Encourage residents to pursue personal goals. Administer medication and monitor health status. Provide support for Behavioral DSP roles where required, including managing intense verbal and physical behaviors, and ensuring crisis‑management protocols. Qualifications At least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED. Successful background clearance required during onboarding. Strong communication skills for documentation, following support plans, and collaborating with team members. Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles; some positions may require using personal vehicle with auto‑liability insurance. Ability to work with individuals experiencing mental health or behavioral challenges; experience preferred but not required. Certifications or trainings (CBRF, CNA, CPR, etc.) appreciated.
