- Racquets Center Front Desk Associate## Job DetailsRockville, MD$18.00 - $25.00 Hourly## Description**Position Purpose:**Offer outstanding service to members and guests. Always seeking ways to enhance the member’s/guest’s experience at Woodmont Country Club. Promote and provide all racquet sports, and any other requests made by members or guests. Maintains the racquets shop and merchandise with guidance from Retail Director and/or Director of Racquet Sports**Standard Requirements**1. Adheres to Club policy and procedures2. As an employee of the club, acts as a role model within and outside the Club3. Maintains a positive and respectful attitude4. Communicates regularly with supervisor about department issues5. Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload6. Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position7. Maintains confidentiality of all data8. Meets department productivity standards**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**1. Handles court, lesson and ball machine scheduling2. Is proficient and effective in running the club reservation system.3. Handles member pro charges and tally’s shift end reports4. Assists with merchandising and re-stocking when necessary.5. Handles re-string and re-grip orders.6. Takes special orders and processes them according to shop procedures.7. Presents a clean and professional image.8. Promotes and sells tennis shop merchandise and services.9. Sets up and puts away ball machine.10. Performs any and all other duties as assigned by supervisor.## Qualifications**Education and Work Experience Qualifications*** Excellent written and oral (English) communication skills required.* Previous retail experience, reception work, front desk, and/or customer services role (minimum 2-3 years’ experience)* Previous administrative work with very strong computer skills (proficient with all Microsoft products, emails, etc)* Has tennis, pickleball, platform or padel experience (either playing or working in the environment). Minimum 2 years of experience.
