Virginia Licensed Coding Specialist

Supporting OB/GYN services in a remote capacity, the Virginia Licensed Coding Specialist will ensure clinical documentation and coding accuracy while assisting providers with complex regulatory and reimbursement requirements. Key responsibilities Review and assign accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for provider services, procedures, and diagnostic testing Analyze clinical documentation for coding accuracy and compliance with established guidelines Partner with physicians and clinical staff to support coding education and best practices Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years of relevant coding experience Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required Experience with electronic health record systems, preferably Epic Strong understanding of coding compliance and regulatory requirements
