Day Porter

Our client, a leading organization in office management and facilities support, is seeking a dedicated Day Porter to join their team. As a Day Porter you will be an essential part of the Office Services team, supporting the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the workspace. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Day Porter

Location: West Hills, CA

Pay Rate: $20.50/hr.

Shift: 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

• Maintain the immaculate appearance of the office space outside the scope of janitorial responsibilities
• Service break rooms, coffee stations, and conference rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness
• Assist with custodial backup during events and programs, providing excellent customer service
• Work with sanitization chemicals safely, understanding and following Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Support reception duties, greet visitors, answer phones, and assist with employee/departmental moves

What's Needed?

• Experience in a related custodial or facilities support role is preferred
• Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work independently with good judgment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to relate to and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
