Accounts Payable Clerk

Commercial Residential Aluminum & Fabricating (CRA)

CRA is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to help keep vendor invoices, payments, and records accurate and on schedule. This role works closely with vendors and internal teams, so we’re looking for someone who is organized, detail oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.

What you’ll do:

• Enter, code, and process vendor and subcontractor invoices.
• Confirm invoices have the required documentation and approvals before payment.
• Prepare checks, ACH payments, credit card payments, and other disbursements.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research invoice, payment, or credit discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with vendor setup, 1099 reporting, month-end close, and audit requests.
• Identify duplicate invoices, unusual charges, and other payment exceptions.
• Respond to vendor and internal team questions about invoices and payment status.

What you’ll bring:

• Previous accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP or accounting system; NetSuite experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet recurring deadlines.
• Clear communication and sound problem-solving skills.
• The ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
